The SPE released an updated version of the PRMS Application Guidelines in July 2022. This document is available for purchase from the SPE website. In August 2022, the SPE issued a minor update (version 1.02) of the 2018 Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) to include a number of errata. In November 2022, the SPE released version 1.03 of the PRMS only changing the title page from “Revised August 2022” to “Revised June 2018 (v. 1.03)” to avoid confusion. The updated document is available for free download from the SPE website, together with an errata document. Also in November 2022, the SPE posted on its website responses to some “frequently asked questions” (FAQs) that followed from the publication of the 2018 PRMS update (FAQs).
July 2022 – The Society of Petroleum Engineers has just published the “Guidelines for Applications of the CO2 Storage Resources Management System”. The document is available for purchase and for corporate subscription on their Publications Bookstore page, and can be obtained by visiting here. The original SRMS version from 2017 with recently published errata is available free of charge from the SPE Resources page, here.
June 2019 – The Society of Petroleum Engineers has posted an update to the Reserves Auditing Standards on their Petroleum Reserves & Resource Definitions Information page. The document can be accessed by visiting here.
November 6, 2018 – The 2018 PRMS version 1.01 is now available from the Society of Petroleum Engineers website. This corrects certain errata in the original version. To obtain your updated copy, click the link below.
