Survey of Parameters Used in Property Evaluation
This Survey is conducted annually by the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) to obtain opinions from the evaluation community regarding a number of economic parameters used primarily in the U.S. and Canada to evaluate oil and gas properties. The purpose of this Survey is to capture and analyze (1) opinions regarding a set of volatile economic parameters including projections of future oil and gas prices, drilling and operating costs, and inflation, and (2) opinions on the factors and methods used in valuing oil and gas properties. The Survey also aggregates opinions regarding other topics of relevance to reserve/resource reporting which vary from year to year. The results of this annual Survey are available for purchase directly from the SPEE.
